A new office for Sharmini

For 20 years Sharmini has kept her office in her dining area: the table serves as a multifunctional desk where everyone comes together, Sharmini receives her guests, and papers are read and dealt with. When it is time to eat, all the papers are swept aside and space is made for the plates. If that is not possible, Alfy sits on the sofa with a plate. Some of you may recognise this in these times of working from home, but at Home of Hope it has been the normal way of things for 20 years. Time to change that and make plans for an office. Thanks to a wonderful gift from the Netherlands, work is now underway on a central office at the entrance to Home of Hope.
