The Dutch-Sri Lankan IT company Gapstars played Father Christmas on a grand scale with a gift of 32 laptops in December. What progress for the children of Home of Hope! The laptops are used in the Online Study Centre, where homework is done and online lessons are followed. But Gapstars will also provide on-site vocational training in IT, for everyone at Home of Hope who has the interest and the aptitude. This will later give our children a wonderful head start on the labour market. The vision and plans of Gapstars fit seamlessly with Home of Hope’s aim of giving the children skills with which they can shape their own lives in modern society and the labour market.
