Madushika came to live at Home of Hope at the age of seven, after experiencing terrible events in her young life. Sharmini still clearly remembers when little Madushika was brought in: very distraught and alone. After 10 loving years at Home of Hope, with quality education and guidance, Madushika is no longer recognizable as the girl she once was. She is now a beautician in Colombo and has also found her husband there: this past weekend, they got married. Surrounded by friends from Home of Hope, the couple exchanged their vows. I was able to be there to wish Madushika and her husband lots of happiness!
