In Memory of Mary-Ann Kaarsgaren

On December 22, we had to say goodbye to our friend Mary-Ann Kaarsgaren during a very impressive service. Mary-Ann was a board member of our foundation, but that word does not convey the meaning of her involvement, she was much more than that.

The Kaarsgaren family has been involved with Home of Hope for over 10 years. Mary-Ann’s ideas became our goals, her inspirational words told our story, and her friends are now our support group. Providing a safe home for hundreds of children wouldn’t be possible without the support of many people. Being able connect a lot of people requires special gifts and skills, and Mary-Ann had them. She also left her mark on Home of Hope itself. She was a rock for Alfy and Sharmini and her joy and appreciation for life brought joy to every child who lives with us.

Dear Mary-Ann, the love you have spread throughout the world will continue to grow. We are going to miss you!
