Every Sunday, the children of Home of Hope receive extra English lessons from Miss Vijayee, with great results! On August 29, Sharmini organized the English Language Day, with a “speech, spelling, and poem competition”. All children who wanted to participate got to show how good their English is on stage. This encouraged and motivated Viayee, considering she travels all the way to Home of Hope from Colombo to teach the children English.
